nice car, is it a small block or big block. Have a 67 myself and have began to call it sour grapes. It is plum crazy little barracuda but with 12.5 to one compression it keeps blowing head gaskets, just bought some cometics, so hope it will stop.. best pass 11.73 on blown head gaskets.. ole smoky...

Thanks Bob, it is a small block 360 thats .030 over. I've been using fel-pro head gasket part number 1008 with ARP head studs and never had a problem. The gaskets are 35 bucks a piece, but worth it. Good luck with your Barracuda.

Dave, I've got a 68 notchback orig 318 4spd. Needs a ground up. I'm looking for restoration links. Also interested in your suspen. set up. Did you have to tub for the size tire you run?

Tim. You don’t have to tub the car to run this tire, but you probably should to make it look right. I’m planning on doing the leaf spring relocation kit (3 in on each side) and a mini-tub in the near future. Currently the section of the tire sticks out from the fender ~1 in and the tread sits even with the inner fender. The suspension is just 90/10 drag shocks up front, a pinion snubber out back, and disc brakes all the way around. I don’t know any good restoration sites because I got all my parts locally, but if you need some go fast goodies check out manciniracing.com. Good luck with your car…a real 4 speed car…I’m jealous.

Thanks Dave, I agree- I've seen pic's of many Cudas and the stance,tire/well arrangement makes or breaks the car when done correctly. I'll plan on mini tub. Not knowing much history of this model, I wondered what the decorative hood ornaments and signal markers denote ?

My 67 barracuda is mini tubbed and I also relocated the springs. Have a narrowed dana 60 it, I run 28X11.5X15 inch M/T's on the back. Car looks kewl with those wide tires tucked under... you will be happy when done... not to mention the extra traction..
